Edsonya Charles

Edsonya Charles serves as the Paid Family and Medical Leave Ombuds.  Ms. Charles is a licensed attorney and has worked as a federal prosecutor, an administrative law judge and a municipal court judge.  Ms. Charles is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Washington School of Law.

Senior Assistant Ombuds
Rob Muilenburg

Rob Muilenburg serves as the Paid Family and Medical Leave Senior Assistant Ombuds. Before joining the Ombuds Office, Mr. Muilenburg worked for the Department’s operations team for the Paid Family and Medical Leave division, providing direct assistance to customers and collaborating on the development of operational procedures. Rob has additional experience in policy analysis and insurance compliance. He holds two degrees from the University of Washington: Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor.
