Edsonya Charles

Edsonya Charles serves as the Paid Family and Medical Leave Ombuds.  Ms. Charles is a licensed attorney and has worked as a federal prosecutor, an administrative law judge and a municipal court judge.  Ms. Charles is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Washington School of Law.

 

Senior Assistant Ombuds
Wendy Galloway

Wendy Galloway serves as the Paid Family and Medical Leave Senior Assistant Ombuds. Ms. Galloway’s recent experience includes assisting Washington residents in resolving problems with their insurance company and ensuring regulated insurance carriers follow Washington state insurance laws.  Wendy also has paralegal experience providing services related to juvenile dependency and termination of parental rights, as well as adult criminal proceedings at the Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons and the Whatcom County Public Defender’s office.  She earned her bachelor’s degree and her Master of Public Administration from the Evergreen State College.
